Kerala Beef & Kaya | Beef with Raw Banana

Ingredients 

For 1/2 kG 

Beef -1/2kg
Plantain-1 1/2 
Chilli Powder-1tbsp
Kashmiri Chilli Powder-1/2tbsp
Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp
Garam Masala -1tsp
Coriander Powder-3/4tbsp
Salt-
Onion-2
Small onions-15 plus 6 
Green chilli -3
Garlic-10
Ginger -medium 
Tomato-11/2
Curryleaves -

Hot Water- 2-3 cups 

For 2 kg 

Beef -2kg
Plantain-1 kg
Chilli Powder-2tbsp
Kashmiri Chilli Powder-1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder-1/2tsp
Garam Masala -2tsp
Coriander Powder-2tbsp
Salt-
Onion-5
Small onions-30 plus 10
Green chilli -6
Garlic-15
Ginger -medium 
Tomato-4
Curryleaves -

Hot Water- 5-6cups 

Method

In a pan roast all the powders except garam masala .
Take a deep heavy bottomed kadai
In that add half of the roasted masala ,crushed ginger garlic,green chilli,garam masala ,oil,curryleaves ,beef  and salt .Mix well .
Close and cook till the beef get cooked 3/4th .. In between open the kadai and stir ,u can add hot water if the water is draiend .
When the beef is 3/4th done add plantain and cook..Add water if necessary .. 
When these r cooked well, keep aside .
In a kadai add oil and saute onion till golden colur ,then add masala powder and saute .
Now add tomato and cook well.
Add this to the cooked beef ,mix well.
Add boiled water and mix well.. Cook well for another few minutes ..
Finally sesaon with small onion and curryleaves..Sprinkle some garam masala and close the kadai for 10 minutes.
Then serve ..
